Want to pitch in during your cottage stay? Here’s a list of maintenance needs for the cottage. If you have any questions contact Uncles Wayne or TJ. They will be happy to clarify :
- Rake Beach
- Wash Windows
- Paint Shed
- Paint Bunk House (you paint it, you get pick the color)
- Vacuum Interior Eaves
- Vacuum and Dust Big Room (Note from TJ: Move all furniture and get behind it)
- Break up and remove bricks by lower door
- Dig out and repair the fire pit
- Varnish – 2 Front Door Trims & Front gables
- Clean out fire place
- Replace shades in big room (2 – 48″ W x 52″ H , 2 – 36″ W x 52″ H , 2- 36″ W x 52″ H for Blue Room)
- Dust beams in Big Room
- Get a shoe rack for Entrance/ Breezeway
- Clean out gutters
- Reroute 4″ drain pipe by beach stairs
- Move TV antenna to the bunk house
- Plant day lilies
- Stain the underside of the deck
- Replace spring on gate on deck ( save our kiddies)
- Build under stair shelves for storage
- Storage area in furnace room
- Take down railing lights on back deck (they don’t work)
So far to date, the beach has been raked, the bricks have been moved to another location, the fire pit has been dug out and replaced by Ed and Bill, the drain pipe has been re-routed and the spring has been replaced on the gate. Keep up the good work!!
